The elephants of Addo warrant the term “awesome”

August 14, 2014

My second trip to Addo Elephant National Park proved to live up to all my expectations. eleberm3To find the elephants, you can’t go too early or too late, especially in winter.

In the morning, in winter, it is just a bit too chilly to see the elephants out of their warm and snuggly bushes. And closer to dusk, you may find only a few stragglers walking the park’s pathways heading to the bushes to hunker down for the night.

But noontime is definitely the right time to see the elephants and Hapoor Dam is a great spot to see them.
